TransAsia Advises Ticketmaster in its Acquisition of a Majority Stake in Emma Entertainment Holdings HK Ltd.

Beijing: TransAsia acted as PRC counsel to Ticketmaster, the world's largest ticket broker, in its acquisition of a majority stake in Emma Entertainment Holdings HK Ltd. As a result of the deal, Emma Entertainment will be renamed Emma Ticketmaster. Philip Qu and Denning Tan led the deal.

TransAsia Advises EA on its Equity Investment and Exclusive Publishing Agreement with The9

Beijing: TransAsia continued serving as PRC counsel for Electronic Arts, Inc (NASDAQ: ERTS) in advising on its recent US$167m acquisition of 15% of the common shares of The9 Ltd (NASDAQ: NCTY). Jesse Chang and Kevin Guo led the deal.

TransAsia also advised on the simultaneously announced Exclusive Publishing Agreement between Electronic Arts and The9, under which The9 attains exclusive publishing rights for EA SPORTS FIFA Online in mainland China.
