2015 TransAsia Awards Employment Law Scholarships at Peking University

Dr. Isabelle Wan, Leader of TransAsia's Employment Team, spoke at Peking University during an event celebrating the 7th year that TransAsia Lawyers has awarded Employment Law Scholarships.

During the ceremony, Dr. Wan spoke with the faculty and award winners about a practitioner’s perspective of employment disputes that foreign-invested companies in China typically encounter, touching upon M&A deals, methods of handling labor disputes, evidentiary rules, and non-competition obligations.

Dr. Isabelle Wan, Leader of TransAsia's Employment Team, presented at an event at Club Med in Guilin – organized by Enterprise & Personnel – on the topic of "Major Issues in PRC Employment Law & Impact of Collective Actions”.

This high-level event was attended by HR directors from major French companies including Airbus, Air France, PSA, L’Oreal, Carrefour and Danone.

On 27 October 2014, Dr. Isabelle Wan, Head of TransAsia's employment practice, delivered a talk at the 6th TransAsia Lawyer’s Employment Law Scholarship awards ceremony. Dr. Wan’s talk was titled “risk and prevention: labor law issues involved in corporate mergers and acquisitions” which touched on the widespread social impact of corporate mergers and acquisitions, the resulting labor disputes.
