Beijing: International industry leaders joined TransAsia in celebrating the publication of China's IT & Telecoms Legislation (Volume II). A number of high-ranking Chinese government officials also attended the launch, including:

• Ren Zemin, Deputy Minister of the State Press and Publication Administration;
• Liu Zhengrong, Deputy Director of the State Council Information Office;
• Zhao Xiaofan, Deputy Director-General of the Ministry of Information Industry; and
• Zhao Zhiguo, Director of the Ministry of Information Industry (Telecommunications Administration Bureau).
