TransAsia co-hosts Forum on “Belt and Road: Risks and Rewards”

On 20 Oct 2016, TransAsia and ChinaGoAbroad co-hosted a Forum on “Belt and Road: Risks and Rewards” at the 2016 China Overseas Investment Fair in Beijing. The Forum was sponsored by the Reignwood Group, Fragomen Worldwide, China Multilateral Investment Advisors Limited, Kroll and Crowe Horwath.

Focusing on risk management in the One Belt, One Road (OBOR) region, the event attracted over 200 business leaders and government officials.

Distinguished speakers included:

We were honored to host panelists:

  • H.E.Zsolt Csutora, Deputy Minister of State for the Opening to the East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary
  • H.E. Soegeng Rahardjo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the People’s Republic of China
  • Rabko Yuri Pavlovich, Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of Belarus in China

To conclude the Forum, National Geographic photographer, Michael Yamashita, shared his experiences increating his Silk Road Collection, travelling in the footsteps of Marco Polo and Zheng He.
