TransAsia Plays Key Role in Publication of China's Laws & Regulations on Radio, Film and Television

24 January 2009
Beijing: China's Laws & Regulations on Radio, Film and Television is slated for publication next month. The book is an important project of the Legal Department and the International Cooperation Department of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) and is published by Law Press China. We are pleased to have played, and to continue to play, a pivotal role both as Supporting Editor and also by translating 34 and editing the English for the remainder of the 47 regulations.

Not unlike our own publications, China's IT & Telecoms Legislation and China's Media & Entertainment Law, this book is intended to provide academics, industry players and other interested parties with access to recent regulations and industry developments, and to promote international exchange and cooperation in these areas. The key difference lies in the fact that our firm's publication contains detailed commentary about, and analysis of, the various laws and regulations and their implementation. TransAsia is privileged, and indeed honored, to enjoy an excellent working relationship with the SARFT, and is proud to have been invited to take part in this latest collaboration. The book also reinforces our firm's dedication to supporting the study and development of PRC media law.
