About Cindy

Cindy is involved with several of the firm's practice areas, including real estate, M&A and media & entertainment. She is also a member of the outbound investment team, where she has been actively involved in projects relating to the energy, natural resources and mining sectors.

Cindy routinely assists with documentation, as well as undertaking legal due diligence and handling establishment and post-establishment procedures for corporate entities in China. She is also experienced with Chinese real estate investment trusts. Prior to joining TransAsia, Cindy worked at the China International Economic & Trade Arbitration Commission in Shenzhen and the Haidian District People's Court in Beijing.

As a member of the Outbound Investment team, advised on the A$ 545 million takeover of Indophil Resources NL by Zijin Mining Group
Assisted in advising various foreign mineral and resources companies on the sale of projects to Chinese state-owned entities
Participated in advising the China Film Group on foreign co-productions and domestic film projects
As a member of the M&A team, advised various U.S. investment groups on their projects in the PRC
Assisted in advising Disney Studios and Working Title on films co-produced in the PRC
Participated in providing advice to ArcelorMittal and Google on issues relating to China's Anti-Monopoly Law
Helped partners to advise Xinyuan Real Estate (the first Asian real estate company listed in the U.S.) on its 2007 IPO on the NYSE
