About Daniel

Daniel’s practice focuses on foreign direct investment, M&A, real estate and general corporate matters. He also advises PRC companies on their offshore financing projects.

As a member of the Outbound Investment team, he advises on Chinese investment projects into foreign jurisdictions, particularly those in the mining and natural resources sector.

• Advised a global publishing group on its acquisition of a Chinese medical software company 
• Assisted an international investor with its investment in the education industry 
• Advised on China Bio Energy Holding Group Co. Ltd. on its offshore financing projects
• Advised Xinyuan Real Estate (the first Asian real estate company listed in the U.S.) on its offshore financing projects and required filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
• Helped advise various foreign mineral and resources companies on the sale of projects to Chinese state-owned companies
