About Helen

A partner of TransAsia's employment law practice, Helen graduated from China University of Political Science and Law (LL.B) has been advising on foreign direct investments in China for 17 years and Chinese employment law issues for 13 years. She has extensive experience in advising on a wide range of employment-related matters, including conclusion and termination of employment contracts (including contracts for both senior officers and employees), wages, stock incentive option, working hours, non-competition, intellectual property rights protection, reward and discipline policies, labor dispatching, retrenchment, crisis management and labor dispute resolution (mediation, arbitration and litigation). She has also litigated numerous PRC employment law cases on behalf of both multinationals and domestic companies.

Helen especially specializes in handling large-scale retrenchments, arbitration and litigation, and has handled countless labor dispute cases over the years and maintained outstanding winning records.

Helen is a licensed PRC trademark agent, regularly assisting clients in their application for trademark registration, and advising on all facets of the protection of intellectual property rights in China.

Before joining TransAsia, Helen worked in the arbitration & litigation department of a Beijing-based law firm, assisting clients in civil and employment law matters, attending hearings on behalf of clients and advising on various legal issues and contracts.
