About Zaoshi

Zaoshi specializes in advising clients on foreign direct investment. Prior to joining TransAsia, Zaoshi participated in negotiations for various Sino-foreign projects, including:

  • a Sino-British joint venture contract for the establishment of Submarine Systems between Directorate General Telecommunications (PRC) and Great Eastern Telecommunications (British)
  • the purchase and supply of an Alcatel 900 Digital Mobile Communication System between Shanghai Post & Telecommunications Administration and Shanghai Bell Alcatel Mobile Communication System
  • a joint venture contract for the establishment of Intercom Telecommunications Shanghai Technology Services between Shanghai P&T Development General Co. and Hong Kong Telecommunications
  • a joint venture contract for the establishment of Shanghai Solaic IC Card between Shanghai P&T Development General and Sligos (France)
  • a Sino-Japanese fiber optic submarine cable agreement between China Submarine Cable Construction Corporation (PRC) and AT&T Submarine Systems (Japan)
  • a contract for the Flag Cable System Marine Route Survey for Shanghai Extension between China Submarine Cable Construction (PRC) and Flag Ltd. (Bermuda)

Zaoshi has also served as a legal advisor to the Shanghai Trade Union on labor disputes (1984) and the Shanghai Post & Telecommunications Administration (1984 - 1999).
