About Michelle
Michelle is actively involved with the firm’s Corporate & Commercial and Media & Entertainment teams, where she has an emphasis on the online games sector. She is also building a practice in intellectual property law. She routinely assists in advising on investments in, and partnerships with, local entities including the related documentation.
Michelle has a wealth of experience handling establishment and post-establishment, de-registration and liquidation issues and procedures for international and domestic entities operating in China. Prior to joining TransAsia, she was a public servant at the Beijing Feng Tai District Justice Office.
Recent Projects
- Participated in advising Airbus on the incorporation of its subsidiaries and on post-registration matters
- Assisted in advising Gameloft (an international entertainment and computer gaming company) on the acquisition of a specialized PRC subsidiary
- Helped to advise Electronic Arts with respect to the acquisition of a Chinese entity
- Participated in advising Glu Mobile, a global publisher of mobile games, on the acquisition of its PRC subsidiaries
- Assisted in advising Zebra Media on the establishment of a PRC subsidiary, in addition to the capital increase and business scope expansion of one of its local subsidiaries
- Provided assistance in advising Google on various corporate changes to its China subsidiary
