About Michelle

Michelle divides her time equally among the Corporate & Commercial, M&A and Media & Entertainment practice groups. She works across a number of industries to assist multinational clients with their M&A and FDI transactions, corporate governance issues and other general corporate matters.  She also has experience in advising Chinese clients on their offshore financing projects, particularly in the technology sector.

Michelle also regularly assists in the preparation of agreements related to large-scale concerts and events, including ticketing, sponsorship, cooperation and venue lease agreements.

Recent Projects

• Assisted in advising Sperian Protection on local regulatory and banking requirements relating to the acquisition of assets in China
• Participated in advising various international companies, including Federal Signal Corporation, Altium, CNBC and Mecc Alte, with changes to their subsidiaries in China
• Provided assistance in advising II-VI on a joint venture and a separate M&A project
• Helped advise Ticketmaster with regard to hosting various concerts and events, including Andy Lau and Sara Brightman’s 2009 China tours, Avril Lavigne’s 2008 Shenzhen concert, David Tao’s 2008 Beijing concert, and various music festivals in Shanghai
• Advised a multinational venture capital with regard to its investment in an online advertising company.
• Assisted in advising an international news agency on the establishment of its Shanghai news bureau
