About Natalie

Natalie is a member of the Outbound Investment and Corporate & Commercial practice groups, where she supports TransAsia’s partners in connection with investments by Chinese clients in foreign jurisdictions, particularly in the mining and natural resources sectors. Natalie also assists in advising international entities on their PRC operations and foreign direct investments in China.

Natalie has completed legal internships with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Hong Kong) and DLA Phillips Fox (Melbourne), and was a volunteer legal assistant for an Australian NGO specializing in refugee and immigration law.

Recent Projects

  • Helped advise various foreign mineral and resources companies regarding the sale of projects to Chinese state-owned entities
  • Participated in advising Electronic Arts on compliance and regulatory issues relating to the release of its online games in China
  • Assisted in advising Ancestry.com (formerly The Generations Network) on commercial contracts and other legal documentation
  • Helped advise CNBC on regulatory changes affecting its PRC operations in China
  • Participated in advising various international companies with regard to corporate changes to their PRC subsidiaries, including business scope expansion, capital increase(s), changes to senior management and share transfers
