About Richard

Richard focuses his work on market entry structures, corporate restructuring, and other general operational issues. He is also an active member of TransAsia’s Employment team, where he advises on all areas of this diverse field with an emphasis on overall legal compliance, termination and retrenchment, and labor dispute resolution.  

Prior to joining TransAsia, Richard worked as an intern at the Supreme People's Court and as a corporate lawyer with another leading PRC law firm.

Recent Projects

• Participated in advising Akamai on its day-to-day China operations (including market entry, products importation, commercial contract review, commercial negotiation, corporate registration and M&A)
• Helped advise LexisNexis with respect to compliance matters relating to the creation and establishment of its medical website
• Assisted in advising Loeb & Loeb and Goulston & Storrs on the establishment of their Beijing representative offices
• Helped advise Federal Signal Corporation on an equity transfer for one of its Shanghai subsidiaries
• Participated in advising the State Administration of Radio, Film & Television on its mobile TV (CMMB) projects
• Participated in advising various domestic and international companies, including Ticketmaster, BRC, Tejari, Longtop Financial Technologies Ltd. and CNet, with day-to-day operational issues
