About Victor

Victor is a legal translator specializing in corporate and financial law. He handles all manner of legal documents and publications, including service agreements, sales contracts and corporate documents.

Prior to joining TransAsia, Victor Shan worked as an intern at the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), where he was responsible for assisting with domain name dispute resolution. He also worked for a prominent translation company which enjoyed a long-term cooperative relationship with LexisNexis.

Recent Projects

• Translated amendments to a joint venture contract between the China Audio and Video Publishing House and Electronic Arts from English to Chinese
• Translated key pieces of legislation for the new edition of TransAsia’s authoritative publication China’s Media and Entertainment Law 3rd Ed. (TransAsia, 2010) from Chinese to English
• Translated the magazine and website license agreement between Advance Magazine Publishers Inc., and Titan Weekly Publishing House from English to Chinese
• Translated the articles of association for Beijing Yixun Wuxian Information Technology Co., Ltd from Chinese to English
