Yu Aiqun (Director General Counsel, State Administration of Radio, Film and Television of the People's Republic of China, or SARFT), is a graduate of the China University of Political Science and Law. At the SARFT, she has overall responsibility for drafting, inspection and enforcement of the SARFT's administrative laws and regulations.
Zhao Yuhui (Vice President, China International Television Corporation, or CITVC) is a postgraduate in linguistics from the Beijing Foreign Studies University. Professor Zhao was formerly Dean of Postgraduate Studies at the China Radio and TV University, Director of CCTV's International Relations Department and Director General of CCTV's Overseas Division between 1997 and 2002. He is responsible for CITVC's international business and cooperative projects.
Zhang Xinjian (Vice Director, Department of Cultural Market Administration at the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China, or MOC) graduated from Nanjing University. Formerly Director of the MOC's Office of the Policy and Regulation Department, Mr Zhang is responsible for the administration of the audiovisual products market. He has been actively involved with the drafting and development of related legislation in the PRC.
Qu Jianmin (Director General, Advertising Department at the State Administration for Industry and Commerce in the People's Republic of China, or SAIC) graduated from the Beijing College of Economics and Management, and undertook postgraduate studies at Peking University Law School. He is recognized as the authority on advertising in the PRC.
Xie Aiwei (Deputy Director General, Department of International Affairs of the General Administration of Press and Publications of the People's Republic of China, or GAPP) studied at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Madame Xie was formerly the Deputy General Manager of the China National Publishing Industry Trading Corporation. At the GAPP, Madame Xie has been responsible for the Chinese press industry's foreign exchange and international training program and, since 2005, for managing domestic and international cooperative programs relating to the press industry.

Diana Gan is a graduate of the University of Technology, Sydney (BA, LL.B, First Class Honors)_and completed her Certificate in Legal Practice at the University of Malaya. Admitted to practice in Malaysia, Diana speaks Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Hakka), English and Malay, and specializes in PRC media-related matters, including film and television program production and distribution, broadcasting, cinemas and IPTV.
Joshua Tintner is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin (BA) and the Boston University School of Law (JD). A member of the California Bar, he advises clients on investment strategies in China with a focus on media, entertainment and IT.
Ashley Yueh is a graduate of the University of California, Berkley (BA) and Beijing Normal University. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin.
Denning Tan is a graduate of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (BA) and the University of London (LL.B, Honors). Admitted to practice in Malaysia, Denning advises on projects in China relating to IT, media and telecommunications law in China and is bilingual in English and Malay.
Theodore Humphries is a graduate of Edinburgh University (MA, First Class Honors) and is fluent in Mandarin. He was the chief editor of China's Internet Policy & Legislation (TransAsia), China's IT Policy & Legislation (TransAsia) and supervised the entire translation work for Volume I of this book.
