  • Assisted Grüner+Jahr with the structuring of, and documentation for, magazine and book co-publishing arrangements with several PRC partners
  • Structured and implemented a PRC e-commerce online platform for Duty Free Shoppers (DFS), and advised on its bid for the duty-free concessions at the Pudong International Airport in Shanghai
  • Advised Tyco International on the formation and restructuring of several joint ventures and subsidiaries in different cities in China
  • Advised Ingram Micro on the restructuring of its China operations, and assisted with local distribution issues
  • Established a foreign-invested commercial enterprise for KHD Humboldt Wedag
  • Assisted Avalon, a U.S.-based aged care company, in exploring structures for its commercial and charitable initiatives
  • Advised Bacardi-Martini on its potential acquisitions of, and mergers with, Chinese liquor companies
  • Advised various international brands (including Camus and Lanvin) on market entry structures and partnerships
  • Advised Phillip Morris on complex advertising and promotional arrangements, including initiatives geared toward consumers and distributors, as well as the  structuring of  lottery-style and other reward-based promotional campaigns
  • Advised Sperian Protection (formally Bacou-Dalloz) on its China structure
  • Advised Cemex (formerly Rinker) on its China structure and in the ultimate sale of its business (including factories and inventory) and restructuring of its operations
