  • Advised IMG on a cooperation arrangement with a Chinese partner for co-promotion in the auto racing sector; assisted with the registration of Chinese subsidiaries
  • Provided strategic and legal services to the Reignwood Group's Pine Valley Polo Club on the negotiation and drafting of a polo club management agreement, a purchase agreement for imported polo ponies and a sponsorship agreement for the first Cartier International Day in Shanghai in October 2008
  • Advised Yi Jianlian (NBA player) in his sponsorship by Reebok
  • Represented English First in concluding its sponsorship agreement with the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games to be the official sponsor for language training at the 2008 Beijing Olympics
  • Advised IMG on its joint venture with CCTV Sports for holding and managing sporting events, and on various sports initiatives
  • Reviewed contracts for Yao Ming (NBA player) regarding his sponsorship by Reebok
  • Assisted the Beijing Municipal Government with clearance and residential relocation issues for the 2008 Olympic Village
  • Assisted the Beijing Municipal Government in the preparation of all public tendering documents for the construction of the main stadium for the 2008 Olympics
  • Advised True Temper, the world's largest golf shaft manufacturer and AMF, the world's largest tenpin bowling operator, on their China operations
  • Advised the Premier League on its corporate social responsibility and premier skills programs in China
  • Advised MP & Silva, a leading international sports media company, in its dispute with a local pay-TV broadcaster under a syndicated media rights agreement
  • Advised ESPN STAR Sports on market entry and restructuring issues
  • Assisted Philip Morris in its corporate sponsorship of sports events, including the F-1 Shanghai
  • Advised Electronic Arts on its sports-related games such as FIFA and NBA Street Online
  • Negotiated copyright licensing agreements with leading sports publishers throughout Europe, Asia and South America on behalf of Titan Sports (Sports Weekly), the publisher of China's leading sports newspaper
